Word was received Tuesday of the death of Hugo Meyer of Festina, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Meyer of this town. He has been suffering from tuberculosis, and though his death was expected, it was a sad surprise to his friends and many relatives. He was yet in the prime of youth, having reached the age of only 22.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born April 16, 1887 and died June 22, 1909. He is buried in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
