Miss Josie Gulickson, who was reported as seriously ill in our last week’s correspondence, passed away at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning. The end came very peacefully, and relieved her suffering. She was 23 years old at the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her death one sister, Mrs. Mikkelson, her father and mother, besides a host of friends. She was buried on Friday at 2 p. m. The remains were laid at rest in the Methodist cemetery.

Libby and Abraham Rustad attended the funeral of their cousin Miss Gullickson at Highlandville Friday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name as Josephine. She was born Oct. 29, 1885 and died May 19, 1909. She is buried in the Big Canoe Norwegian Methodist Cemetery.
