Frank Phillip, a farmer who lives near Spillville, died Sunday at the insane hospital in Independence. Mr. Phillips was insane once before and was sent to Independence and was apparently cured. He returned and was married and settled down on his farm. Later he again became insane and remained att he{sic} asylum until his death. The body was sent to Spillville for interment, the funeral services taking place Wednesday.

Transcriber’s Note: There is a Frantishik M. Phillips buried in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. He was born Sept. 12, 1879 and died May 3, 1909.
