Mrs. Archie Jones received the sad news Sunday of the death of her sister Mrs. Ed. Brown of Ossian.

On Sunday evening we were informed of the sad news of the death of Mrs. E. H. Brown. She had been on the verge of death for the past week and although the news was expected at any time it was a blow to all. She leaves to mourn her loss a sorrow-stricken husband and two children. The funeral services will be held to-morrow (Wednesday) afternoon at one o’clock at the M E. church.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Mae and that she was born in 1885. She is buried in the Hillside Cemetery.
