A message received here on Saturday from Cleveland, New Mexico, announced the death of Mrs. Daniel Cassidy at that place early that morning. The young woman had been a patient sufferer for many weeks, and death came as a relief to her. Celia Huber was born here on April 8th, 1883, attended both schools and graduated from the public school in 1900. After that she fitted herself for a teacher’s profession and for several years taught in the schools in Winneshiek county. In July 3d, 1906, she was united in marriage to Mr. Daniel Cassidy of Cleveland, New Mexico, who with two children Philip J. and Susan Agnes, are left to mourn her loss. Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn her loss her mother, Mrs. Frances Huber, her sisters, Mrs. Wm. Lansing and Mrs. Herman Hemesath of Ossian, Adelaide, who is now at Cleveland, N. M., and Clara at home, and her brothers, Joseph, Leo, Edward, Fred, Mike and Albert, all of this place. The deceased was very well known here, having grown to young womanhood in our midst, and her many friends as well as relatives mourn her departure.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name as Cecilia and that she died March 20, 1909. She is buried in the San Antonio Cemetery in Cleveland, NM.
