Clarence T. Larson, 72, of 307 Center Street, died August 25 at the Decorah Retirement Center. Mr. Larson, who was born and raised in Decorah, had been an electrician with the Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, Mich. for 45 years and returned to Decorah in 1965 following his retirement.

Funeral services for Mr. Larson were held Monday, Aug. 28 at Steine Funeral Home with burial in Washington Prairie Lutheran Cemetery, Pastor Paul H. Christenson officiated, and arrangements were made by Steine Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Levi Guttebo, Elmer Peterson, Glenn Remmen, Phil Bergen, Erick Egge and Leonard Ruen. Mrs. Esther Egge was organist, and Mrs. Randall Koepp was soloist.

Mr. Larson is survived by his wife, the former Mildred Sjoboen; a brother, Willis Larson of Decorah and two sisters, Florence Larson, Decorah, and Mrs. Mabel Reishus, East Grand Forks, Minn.

Clarence Larson was born October 12, 1899 in Decorah, the son of Austin and Sigrid Larsonn. He attended Decorah Public Schools and was married June 8, 1921 at the bride's home. He was a member of First Lutheran Church.

His parents preceded him in death.
