Funeral services for David Lowell McLain, 3, of Burr Oak were held Thursday at Burr Oak Methodist Church with the Rev. David Ash administering final rites. Burial was in the Burr Oak Cemetery.

David was killed when a tractor tipped pinning him beneath. The accident happened at his farm home near Burr Oak Tuesday.

Pallbearers were Truman Tollefsrud, Jr., Jerry Stortz, James Donlon and Donald Harvey. Mrs. Wayne Headington was organist and accompanied the congregation as they sang hymns. Arrangements were made by Steine Funeral Home.

David was born July 29, 1969 in Decorah. His parents are Lowell and Sandra McLain. He also is survived by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.Earl McLain, Decorah, and maternal grandparents, Maynard Nelson, So. St. Paul, and Susie Keim, St. Paul, and a sister, Laura, 2.
