A. D. Nelson, one of Hesper’s pioneers, passed away at about 6:30 last evening at the home of his daughter Mrs. Rygg. The funeral will be held at the Lutheran church on the 6th.

Andrew D. Nelson, whose death on the 3d was briefly noticed last week, was born in Norway about eighty years ago. He came to America in 1854 and to Hesper in 1856. He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Hans Rygg, Mrs. Albert Sail and Miss Anna Nelson, and three sons, John of Canton and Tid and Albert of North Dakota, also a sister and a nephew of Chicago, who were here at the time of his death.
