George W. Scott died Tuesday afternoon at his home in Minneapolis after an illness of over a year from kidney trouble and complications. Mr. Scott will be remembered as a resident of Decorah a quarter of a century ago. He married Ella M. Adams, sister of N. H. Adams, and moved to Minneapolis where they have since resided. Mr. Scott has been a commercial traveler for farm implement houses for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sisters. The remains will be brought to Decorah this afternoon and taken direct from the train to Phelps cemetery where burial will be made.
