DEAD FOR MONTHS.
Body of Joe Miles Who Disappeared Christmas Night Found in Field Near Prosper.
The body of Joe Miles, who has made his home in the northern part of Winneshiek county for a number of years, working as a farm laborer, was found Tuesday in a field near Prosper. For some time past he has made his home with his brother-in-law Roy Miller. On Christmas night he left Miller’s and has not since been seen until his body was found. Whether his death was due to accident or suicide or from natural causes is a matter of conjecture. Where he was found was near the tracks of the C., M. & St. P Railway but too far away for him to have been thrown had the train struct him.
Deceased is survived by his mother and three sisters.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 19, 1878 and is buried in the Prosper Cemetery in Canton, MN.
