JAEGER.
Early Tuesday morning death came to Mrs. Fredrika Jacker{sic} after a brief illness from the grip. Mrs. Jaeger has been a resident of this county since 1869. She was born in Germany and at the time of her death was 75 years of age She is survived by seven children, Herman, Louis, Mrs. Anna Bolger, Mrs. Clara Mackenstadt, Mrs. Luck Michaelson of Decorah, Mrs. Minnie Worth of Sioux Falls and Richard of Flandraeu, S. D. Her husband died eight years ago. There are many who will remember Mrs. Jaeger with a feeling of kindness and will sympathize with the children in their bereavement. To those she was kindly known a “Mama.” The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Olmstead officiating. Interment will be in Phelps cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Phelps Cemetery shows her name spelled Frederika and that she was born Jan. 22, 1833 and died Feb. 11, 1908
