THE SILENT REAPER.
WOLDT.
After an illness of two days Mrs. Gottlieb{sic} Woldt of Washington Prairie died on Thursday last from an attack of the grip. Mrs. Woldt’s maiden name was Julia{sic} Meyer. She was born Jan. 6, 1833{?}, in Prussia, came to America fifty years ago and settled in Milwaukee, where she was married to Gottlieb{sic} Woldt. They came to Decorah about 35 years ago and after residing here for 10 years moved to Glenwood township. She is survived by six children, Mrs. Lydia Foltz, Julia, Herman, Anna, Bertha, and Clara. Her husband died several years ago. Rev. Koren conducted the funeral services Thursday last, and the remains were interred in Phelps cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone shows her name as Julie and her birth date as Jan. 7, 1841. Also her husband’s name is spelled Gotthile.
