Mrs. William Stroud of Mabel, who for many years has been in poor health, passed away on the 2d. She was a sister of Mrs. W. Frank Johnson, and the sympathy of a large circle of her friends goes out to the bereaved ones. The remains will be laid at rest beside those of her husband in the Hesper cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Hesper Public Cemetery records show this was Martha. Her gravestone shows she died Feb. 2, 1907 which is obviously an error. It shows she was born Oct. 14, 1842.
