Last Thursday afternoon as Hans Anderson was about to go home, his horse took fright, throwing him between the front wheel and the shafts of the buggy. The horse went galloping down Main street, and was not stopped until opposite the Anderson & Cornell office. Mr. Anderson was carried to the photograph gallery, where he died in a few moments. He was buried at the Norwegian Lutheran church on Sunday morning, a large crowd assembling to pay a last tribute to this respected dead. He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his loss. Mr. Anderson was about 70 years of age.
