Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Vick of 705 Ridgewood Drive, Decorah, died April 26 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was 46.

A life-long resident of Decorah, Mrs. Vick was a member of Good Shepherd Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

The former Barbara Olson, she was born in Decorah, June 8, 1927, the daughter of Olaf and Carrie Olson. She attended the Decorah schools and was married February 12, 1947 to Frank Vick in ceremonies at Decorah Lutheran Parsonage.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Jo Linn Wold, Decorah; two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Norman Wood of Decorah.

Funeral services were conducted by Pastor R. David Berg Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roderick Vick, Donald Vick, Lowell Bruenning, Vernon Myers, Walter Kubik and Archie Arthur. Music was furnished by Allan Sensor who was organist and accompanied soloist Marlin Fretheim. Funeral arrangements were made by Steine Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vick was preceded in death by her parents.
