Rites Held For Mrs. Anna Mann

Funeral services were held last Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Monona for Mrs. Anna Mann. Rev. Wilfred Schmidt, read the mass of requiem and burial took place in St. Francis cemetery, Ossian, Rt. Rev. Msgr. M. J. Thiltgen, officiating.

Anna Wiltgen was born in Ossian, March 1, 1875, the daughter of Dominic and Louisa Wiltgen, and passed away at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bachtell in Postville, Monday, August 31.

She was married to Edward Mann, February 4, 1896, who preceded her in death three and one half years ago.

To this union seven children were born, all of whom survive; also 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; six brothers and three sisters.

Her entire life was spent in and around Castalia with the exception of the past six years, she lived in Luana and Monona.

Submitter notes: Edward Mann died Oct. 24, 1949. Their children were: Mrs. Louise Ryberg, Mrs. Fred Hallberg, Mrs. Deryl Wilson, Mrs. Jack Ekstrum, Fred Mann, Mrs. Keith Gordon and Mrs. Ralph Bachtell.
