MRS. JACOB ZUCKMAYER.

The news of the death of this old resident was another surprise and shock to this community. She was visiting at Lime Springs and intelligence of her illness came last Friday. As she had been long a sufferer from Asthma this was not alarming, and Mr. Z went to be with her. A dispatch to the children Monday brought intimation of her peril. She died before her children could reach her. She died Monday forenoon, and the remains were brought home and buried yesterday.

Mrs. Zuckmayer’s maiden name was Sarah O. Wilson. She was born in Vos, Norway, July 29th, 1825, and came to this country in 1853. May 27th, 1856 she married, and after two years came to Decorah where here family have since resided. Three children – Mrs. Chas. Trzcinski, and George and Albert Zuckmayer – and her husband – survive her.
