Mrs. Aaron Ean died at her home here, Monday evening, Dec. 16th, after an illness of some weeks. Something over a year ago she had a stroke of paralysis, from which she never fully recovered, and she had gradually failed since that time. Amanda O. Freer was born Aug. 23, 1835, in Ellenville, New York. She was married to Aaron Ean Dec. 23, 1852. About thirty years ago they settled on Washington Prairie in Frankville township, this county, where they resided until three years since, when then moved to Castalia. Mrs. Ean was the mother of nine children of whom two boys and two girls survive her. The funeral will occur from the Centennial church Wednesday, Dec. 18th. Rev. McCuskey, of Frankville officiating.
