On the 6th there was buried in the Hesper cemetery another of the pioneers of this country, Mrs. Mary Row, who with her husband and family of six girls and one boy settled near Riceford at a very early day, Mrs. Row died on the 4th at the home of her son-in-law, B. J. Taber, leaving as immediate mourners three daughters and one son, Mrs. Wm. Westgate, Mrs. Van Dorn, Mrs. B. J. Taber and Dwight Row.
Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Hesper Public Cemetery shows the name spelled Rowe and that she was born Aug. 6, 1813.
