--Intelligence by wire was received by cashier Gardner of the death of Mrs. Stella Easton Doud, in New York city. She was the only daughter of Mr. Jas H. Easton, of this city, and he was on his way to see her when the event occured. No details except that the death took place Thursday evening have been received.

Transcriber's note: Find a grave shows she was born April 5, 1862 and is buried at Lowville Rural Cemetery in Lowville, New York with as Dowd spelling of last name.
