WILLIAM L. IVERSON.
On the 7th inst., at his home at Spring Valley, Minn., Mr. William L. Iverson, second son of the late Lars Larson, of Canoe township, Winnesheik County, Iowa, passed away. The cause of his heath was a complication of lung difficulty and kidney trouble.
Mr. Iverson was born in Norway in 1841 and came to America in 1850 with his parents, in 1851 the family moved upon land in Sec. 2, Canoe township, and there Mr. Iverson continued to reside until 1894. When he was nearing manhood he took charge of half of his father’s farm and prosperity attended him as a tiller of the soil. In 1861 he was married to Miss Ellen Sheldon, who survives him. They had no children. When in 1894 he retired from his farm he built a comfortable home in Spring Valley and there resided during the remainder of his days. While he resided on his farm he took an active interest in the welfare of the Hauge church in Canoe township, and served in various capacities therein.
Mr. Iverson was a brother of Mr. Iver Larson, of this city, and a man much respected by his neighbors and friends.
