WOLF - At her home in Bluffton, Iowa, Sept, 12, Mrs. Elsie J. Wolf, aged 41 years, 1 month
and 23 days.
Elsie J. Dawley was born in Bluffton township, this county, July 29, 1856. She was married to John W. Wolf May 11, 1874, and was the mother of nine children, of whom four are dead. Her death was very sudden. As well as usual Saturday night, she arose about four o’clock Sunday morning, complaining of trouble with her heart. In less than half an hour and before help could be summoned she was dead. The funeral was from necessity in the case, held the same day, and the body was buried in the evening. She leaves a husband, five children, a father and one sister to mourn her loss. She was a member of the Baptist church of Bluffton. The funeral service which was hold after nine o’clock at night was attended by a company which filled the school house. GEO. HOUGHTON, pastor.
