Spring Valley, Minn., Jan. 27.—Gilbert Rud, a young man who lived about ten miles southwest of here, was frozen to death to-night. Rud had been missed since Saturday night, when he attended a country dance at the home of Martin Anderson. He became intoxicated, and started for home at about 2 p. m. with another man, but left his companion to return to the dance, which was the last seen of him.
