Death of Peter Olson of Highlandville.
We learn without securing any details, that Peter Olson, the well known miller at Highlandville, died this week and was buried yesterday. Mr. Olson was born in Norway in 1825, and came to this country—locating in this county —in 1851. He built and operated for years the Highlandville mill. He was twice married, and was the father of seven children, three of whom survive him. For about ten years before going to Highlandville he was the head miller in the old Decorah mill under Henry Heivley and the owners preceding him. We hope for a fuller obituary of this pioneer settler.
