MRS. MATILDA THORGRIMSON.
Mrs. Matilda Thorgrimson, wife of Rev. H. B. Thorgrimson, died at the family home in Milwaukee last week Thursday from consumption. Mrs. Thorgrimson was a daughter of Rev. H. A. Stub, for many years pastor of the Canoe church, and sister of Rev. H. G. Stub, until recently pastor of the First Lutheran church of Decorah. She was born at Coon Prairie, Wis., in 1857, and was married to Rev. Thorgrimson in 1883. Six children and the husband survive to keep in loving remembrance one who was a devoted wife and mother. The remains were brought for interment to the Canoe cemetery, where Mrs. Thorgrimson’s mother and other members of the family are burled.

Transcriber’s Note: Iowa Gravestone Photos show the name spelled Thorgrimsen and that she was born May 2, 1857 and died March 22, 1900.
