MRS. PETER MITSON. MRS. Isabella Adams Mitson, widow of Peter Mitson, died at her home in Canton township, Fillmore county, on Wednesday, Jan 10th, after an illness of more than four months resulting from cancer. Deceased was born in Canada, in 1826, and in a few weeks more of life would have rounded out seventy-four useful years. She married Peter Mitson on March, 1846, and to them were born seven children, all of whom survive her, and were able to be present and pay their last tribute to a faithful loving one. These are three sons and four daughters, viz: William B. Mitson, of Alexandria, Minn., H. P. Mitson, of Canton, and Charles Mitson, of Fillmore county, Minn., Mrs. Charles Milller{sp} of Burr Oak, and Mrs. Jesse O. Beach, of Canton, Mrs. Wm. Goldsworthy, of Fremont township, and Mrs. Frank Masters; of Decorah. The funeral services were held on Friday last, and her remains were laid in the cemetery at Elliota, beside those of her husband who preceded her to the better land last April.
