The Decorah papers record the death on Sept. 6th of Mrs. Mathias Kabela, of Fort Atkinson, at the age of 85 years. Deceased was the mother of Mrs. Frank Panoch, of New Oregon township.

Transcriber’s Note: St. John’s Cemetery shows this was Katerina Kabele and show she was born in 1826 and her husband’s name was Matej.
