Another Old Settler Gone.
Calmar Courier —Last Sunday, Sept. 22d, Henry Cremer, an old settler of this county, died at his home about two miles south east of Calmar.
Deceased was born in Westfalia, Germany, in Dec. 1829, and came to Waterford, Wis., in 1846. In 1852 he came to this county, where he has since resided. We have not the date of his marriage, but some time after coming to America, he was united in marriage to Caroline Bechel, who with 10 living children, 7 boys and 3 girls survive him to mourn his death.
Wednesday at 9.30 o’clock the burial took place in the Catholic Cemetery at Calmar. For about ten years the deceased was an invalid, in latter years being utterly helpless.
