Killed in Philippines
Yesterday's Pioneer Press says Clifford N. Mumby, son of W. R. Mumby, a former St. Paul printer, now running a paper at Buford, N. D., was among the members of Co. C. 9th U S. Inf., reported killed recently in the Philippines. Some of the older residents of Decorah will recall the elder Mumby as a job printer in the REPUBLICAN office in the early seventies.
