—Edward Manning, of Keosauqua, who was reported as the wealthiest man in the state, died on the 16th, aged 86. He was worth three million plunks, and he left every pluck behind him.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his first name was Edwin and he was born in February 8, 1810. He is buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Keosauqua.
