Sudden Death in Highland.
Mr. Hans P. Lerdahl, one of the old residents of Highland township, on Monday last died while in the hay field where he was engaged in mowing. He went to work in his usual health and soon after his sons noticed that the horses had stopped and went over to see what was the matter. They found their father behind the mower, under the seat dead. He was aged about 69 years and leaves eight sons and one daughter. Funeral services were held at the church in Highland township yesterday, Rev. Seehus officiating.
