Aaron Ean died at his home in Castalia Friday morning, July 5, after a lingering illness. Several months ago he suffered an attack of paralysis and never recovered from its effects. For many years deceased lived in Frankville township, but for the last few years has lived here. His son Silas, of St, Paul, and daughter Mrs. J. M. Vance were here to attend the funeral, which was held from the Centennial church, near his former home. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ross of this place. A large company of old neighbors and friends assembled to pay their last respects to the dead. We are not in possession of an obituary of the deceased.
Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone photo in Centennial Cemetery shows he was born April 22, 1824.
