Died at Sioux City.
A telegram received by Q. A. Dlxson last Thursday brought the intelligence of the death of Miss Ida Johnson, a former employee of the Winnesheik hotel, at a hospital in Sioux City. The remains were brought to Decorah last Friday morning and conveyed to Hesper, her parental home, for burial. Miss Maude Johnaon, her sister, received a letter but a short time ago, saying Ida was well and the news of her death was a great shock. It was learned later that she had been troubled with tonsilitis, and an abcess broke and discharged internally, causing her death.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in Hesper Lutheran Cemetery and was born in 1878.
