The Silent Reaper.
The death of Miss Mary Scott, a daughter of E. R. Scott, of Madison township, occurred last Friday at the family home after an illness of several weeks. A gathering in one of her ears, which broke inwardly, caused her death, but she was apparently improving and the suddenness of her demise was a great shock to her friends. Miss Scott was born Feb. 9, 1874, in Decorah, and was one of a family of nine children. She is survived by her parents, four brothers and four sisters. The funeral was hold yesterday morn- at 11:30 o’clock at the Episcopal church, Rev. Eubanks officiating.
