Died out in Washington.
Just as we go to press, intelligence is received of the death of Mrs. John Franklin, an event that occured at her home in Farmington, Washington, on the fourth inst, after an illness of only a few hours. Mrs. Franklin was born in New York state April 26, 1829. She was married at the age of 21. One child was born to them which died in infancy. Mrs. Franklin will be remembered for her residence in Decorah. She had been a member of the Methodist church since 15 years of age.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this is Sarah who is buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Farmington, WA; however, her gravestone shows she was born in 1839.
