Death has again invaded our community and taken Mrs. A. J. Soukup from our midst. She was stricken with tuberculosis a short time ago, but so rapid was the disease that she succumbed to it last week Tuesday. The remains were taken to Spillville on Saturday, where they were interred in the Catholic Cemetery. The surviving husband and children have the sympathy of the entire community in the darkest hour of their sorrow.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery shows this was Marie who was born February 1, 1864 and died May 15, 1912.
