A Pioneer Mother at Rest.
Marit Rovang died at the home of Torger K. Lansrud in this city on Friday last, aged 89 years on 25th of last April. She was the mother of Mr. O. O. Rovang and Mrs. Lansrud(deceased) and came to this country in 1850, becoming one of the pioneer residents of Springfield township. Burial look place in the Springfield church cemetery last Monday afternoon.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave show she is buried in the Washington Prairie Lutheran Cemetery and was born April 25, 1813 and died June 4, 1902. Also, it shows her daughter’s name spelled Landsrud.
