Death of a Distinguished Churchman.
Rev. G. Hoyme, foreman (president) of the United Lutheran Churches of this country, died at his home in Eau Claire, Wis., on Monday last, and will be buried to-day. He had been ill for a long time, and the event was not unexpected. His church loses one who was greatly beloved. The church in this city held a special meeting on this account on Tuesday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire, WI and he was born Oct. 8, 1847 and died June 9, 1902.
