On the 9th inst., Mrs. Cora Banning of Canoe died. Her infant was buried only two days before her death. She was a young mother, not yet 16. All feel sorrowful over such an untimely end, only a child herself. Our hearts feel sad and full of pity for the bereaved husband, father and mother.

OBITUARY
Mrs. Ed. Banning, oldest daughter of Emory Overacker and wife, died at her home in Canoe township on the 9th last in her sixteenth year. She was born May 12th, 1886 and was married on December last to Ed. Banning. Her husband, parents and two brothers were with her at the time of her death. She is survived by other relatives and a number of friends who mourn her loss.
