Meda Buckland died last night of pneumonia and heart complication. Although her illness was not very prolonged she was a great though patient sufferer. Meda was thirteen years old and was a favorite among school associates. She was unusually bright in her school work, and will be greatly missed. She was quiet and lady-like and although she had not been in good health for over a year she was never given to complaining. Her young friends greatly deplore her loss and deeply sympathize with the remaining brother and sisters and father.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone photo in Bloomfield Cemetery shows she was born March 27, 1888 and died Feb. 2, 1902. Also it shows her name as Almeda.
