A greatly afflicted family is that of Ole Thorson, whose home is southeast of town, where his wife and four children have all been sick at the same time. The eldest daughter died of pneumonia and was buried from the Lutheran church on Wednesday. One child is still very ill; the rest improving.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Tolina. She is buried in Hesper Lutheran Cemetery. She was born August 24, 1888 and died January 24, 1902.
