Killed by a Cave-in at Lanesboro.
Preston Times:—Yesterday afternoon while Artie Enger and Paul Hoel were working at the bottom of the flume leading to the electric light plant, about 15 feet below the surface, a cave-in suddenly took place, killing Paul, aged about 16, while Enger and King had a narrow escape. Osmar King was in Lanesboro visiting his brother and was down in the flume merely as a spectator. He was struck by the dirt and his back was somewhat injured. Enger was doubled up like a jack knife, but being a strong man, he made a superhuman effort and literally raised himself up through the dirt. At this point he looked around for Paul, who had been firmly caught by the feet and just then a second cave-in took place, completely covering poor Hoel, while his companions escaped without further injury

Transcriber’s Note: Find a grave shows he is buried in the Lanesboro Cemetery and was born in 1886.
