Death from Headache Powder.
Old Decorah friends of the Michael Coughlin family were painfully surprised last week to learn of the death of Mrs. D. F. Taylor of Minneapolis on Wednesday night. According to the reports in the Minneapolis papers, she had suffered from a severe headache that day and after trying all the remedies at her command, called a physician who recommended headache tablets of a certain kind that are commonly used in such cases. During the afternoon she took eight five-grain tablets, an overdose which caused her death at ten o’clock, in spite of the efforts of three physicians to save her life. Mrs. Taylor was thirty-three years of age and was the third daughter of Mrs. M. Coughlin who recently moved to Ossian to reside. The funeral was held in Minneapolis Saturday.
