On Saturday, the 25th, Mrs. Lottie Johnson-Humphrey, wife of Wm. Humphrey, after many weeks of suffering from consumption, entered into rest.
She leaves to mourn her loss her young husband, two small children, father and mother, brother and sister. Mr. and Mrs. Humphrey have passed their whole lives in Hesper and have enjoyed the esteem of all who knew them. The sympathy of all goes out to the mourning ones.

Transcriber’s Note: Iowa Gravestone Photos shows this was Charlotte who is buried in Hesper Lutheran Cemetery. She was born September 22, 1876 and died April 26, 1903.
