Truman B. Wiles was born in Vermont May 2, 1826, and died at the home of his son D. C. Wiles, near Mabel. Minn., Dec. 28. 1902, Mr. Wiles and family came to Hesper in October, 1866, and has made this his home since that time. A good husband and kind father has finished his work and passed to his reward, leaving to mourn his loss a wife, one son and two daughters. The funeral services were held at the Friends church on the afternoon of the 29th, Dr. Philip Slack preaching the sermon.
