At the last moment this morning we hear that Station Agent A. W. Smith died this morning at Ossian, His death was the result of internal injuries sustained in a fall a few days ago. The sorrowing family have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.

The funeral of A. W. Smith held last Thursday afternoon was largely attended by friends from Ossian and Decorah, The Christian Science burial service was used, Mrs. Hand of Charles City preaching the sermon.
