ESTHER DECOU PEGG.
Old friends at Ossian and Decorah were pained to learn of the death of Mrs. Esther Decou Pegg, widow of the late Dr. Austin Pegg. Which occurred on the 19th inst., at Woodhouse, Ont. The funeral was held on the 21st and the remains were interred in the cemetery at Port Dover. Mrs. Pegg was in all ways a woman worthy of the high esteem in which she was held.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave shows she was born April 20, 1843, died January 19, 1905 and is buried in Centennial Cemetery.

Mrs. Austin Pegg of Simco, Canada, died in Buffalo last week. She has been very poorly for the past years, but has now gone to a place where suffering is not known. The many people of Ossian will remember Mrs. Pegg as a former resident.
