Another, and an untimely death we are to note is that of Matt Kunts who died Monday, Jan. 21st, on his farm near Jackson Jc., and was buried at the Spillville cemetery Wednesday, Jan. 23rd. The deceased belonged to the Bohemian Western Union and had many friends in Howard county.

Transcriber's Note: St. Wenceslaus Cemetery records indicate his last name was spelled Kunt and that he was born January 20, 1824
