Mrs. Robt. Addie died last Thursday morning at her home in Albion, after a illness from creeping paralysis. The funeral occurred Saturday at the Ashley church, conducted by Rev. O. A. Marshall and Rev. Sidney Heald, the interment being in the Albion cemetery. We will give a more extended obituary in our next issue.

ADDIE.
Mary Caroline Otis was born in the town of Bath, Stuben Co., N. Y., May 29th, 1849 and died at her home in A1bion township, Howard Co., Iowa, Nov. 23, 1904 in her 56th year.
When she was but a year and a half' old her parents moved to Juneau Co., Wis. where they resided until she was i sixteen years of age, when they moved to Rock Co., Wis.
Dec. 20th, 1870 at Johnstown Center, Wis. she was united in mariage{sic} to Robert Addie. They resided in Wisconsin until 1874 when they moved to Howard Co., Iowa, living for one year on the farm known as the Verbeck farm, moving from there to the farm that has since been their home.
To them but one child was born, a son, Herbert G. who with the husband, a brother and two sisters are left to mourn her loss.
She was a member of the M.E.Church for a number of years. She not only professed Christianity, she lived it, her whole life has been a testimony for her Lord and almost her last words showed that in death as in life He was her strength and comfort.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Albion church, Rev. C. A. Marshall officiating. Interment was in the Albion cemetery.{sic}Transcriber’s Note: Gravestone records show she is buried in Kendallville - Eddy Cemetery.

Mrs. Robert Addie, who has been so ill the last few months, died at her home in Albion Wednesday morning. The funeral was held at the Albion church Friday afternoon and the interment was in the Kendallville cemetery Mr. Addie and son have the sympathy of our people.
