Obituary.
John O’Brien, a son of Patrick O’Brien, of Bluffton, Ia., died Wednesday morning, June 8th, at 11 o’clock, at the home of John Murray, near Schley, after an illness of about a week from appendicitis. He was about 21 years of age.
The funeral occurred on the following Friday at Bluffton, Rev. Father Hawe, of Decorah, officiating, the interment being in the Bluffton cemetery.
The deceased was a young man of good character who had won the confidence and esteem of a large circle of acquaintances who unite in sympathy with the bereaved relatives in the untimely death of their son and brother.Transcriber's Note: St. Bridget Cemetery shows he was born November 6, 1882.
